Events Manager - Luxury Retail (SR)

The successful candidate will be a creative thought partner with the team and play a central role in translating the company’s brand at a local level through experiences and activations in new and existing markets that ultimately results in increased brand awareness and lead generation. Reporting to the General Manager, the Events Manager will enjoy working in a fast-paced, global organization with key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the strategy and lead the management of special event initiatives in the region
  • Manage relationships with corporate clients and work with the team to ensure that requirements are met in a timely manner
  • Contribute to the strategic development and manage the execution of multi-market leased and wholesale initiatives that support the business development and image goals of company
  • Communicate frequently with retail partners to sustain relationships, understand internal strategy and action initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Communications, Special Events and Consumer Management to maximize event opportunities such as added value programs, client development, acquisition and retention strategies, activity reporting, and press opportunities
  • Build and manage events strategy and creative development, including budgeting, processes, programming, and working with internal and external partners
  • Develop and manage events-related partnership
  • Evaluate post-event ROI, in coordination with management

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an events related position
  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Vendor management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship--building skills;
  • Appreciation and understanding of the luxury industry
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Positive and focused professional team player
